FAQ’s
How much do you charge?
This is without a doubt the most frequently asked question of any photographer and my most frequent response is “It all varies based on what you are looking to achieve.” Ideally an individual seeking my services as a photographer should be well prepared to express their wants and needs during a consultation allowing both the client and I to come together as a creative team to produce a stunning photographic package.
Why does a photography session take so long?
There is a significant difference between having your picture taken and having a photo shoot. In today’s world of fast cars and microwaves everything is not as simple as 123, if it were you’d be standing in line at the local retail store to pose for that single picture. A photo shoot is designed and created with the individual in mind allowing the client to become relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera to produce some dynamic images. There is no limit to the number of images taken, only the amount of time required by the client.
Will I receive my images on a CD or will I be given prints?
This could be a loaded question depending on whom you talk to. Many photographers’ offer prints which while having the images in your immediate hand seem ideal at the time. But when those prints are exhausted you must return to the photographer and ask for more prints at an additional cost. Having your images on a CD allows instant access for printing at a fraction of the cost and the ability to load images unto the web. I prefer to offer my clients their images on a CD in a professional package.
How many images will I receive and how long before I receive them?
Typically proof sheets can be available within 48 hours which would than be emailed or printed for review. Depending on the size of the package purchased, number of images, once reviewed by the client and images selected the CD would be available within 7 working days.
Do you use Film or Digital Imaging?
All files are captured in Digital Raw Format for optimal post production work.
